First Step Exporter

First Step Exporter offers financial assistance to Victorian companies seeking to research and explore opportunities in their first export markets.

Eligible exporters can apply for a grant to offset expenses for:

commissioned market research
economy airfares to overseas markets and transport within overseas markets
promotional material
trade fair participation
freight of samples.
