The TradeConnect (TCon) program provides grants to help new and existing ACT exporters build global opportunities and enhance their international competitiveness.
TCon has four separate funding categories:
- in-country assistance—support for independent international market visits through funding for services such as in-market business matching and appointment scheduling provided by an appropriate organisation
- trade show assistance—support for exhibiting at international trade fairs, including costs such as registration fees, booth hire and redesign of marketing material
- global market research assistance—support for research that validates the strength of global opportunities for a particular product or service
- coaching/mentoring services assistance—further expert market development support for those companies/individuals who have completed both the Canberra BusinessPoint export training and Austrade’s New Export Development Program.
