TradeConnect

Administered by: Business and Industry Development, ACT Chief Minister’s Department

The TradeConnect (TCon) program provides grants to help new and existing ACT exporters build global opportunities and enhance their international competitiveness.

TCon has four separate funding categories:

  • in-country assistance—support for independent international market visits through funding for services such as in-market business matching and appointment scheduling provided by an appropriate organisation
  • trade show assistance—support for exhibiting at international trade fairs, including costs such as registration fees, booth hire and redesign of marketing material
  • global market research assistance—support for research that validates the strength of global opportunities for a particular product or service
  • coaching/mentoring services assistance—further expert market development support for those companies/individuals who have completed both the Canberra BusinessPoint export training and Austrade’s New Export Development Program.
