About the role

The purpose of the role is to build and deliver strategic marketing programs that support our corporate financing activities including transactions in the Pacific and Indo Pacific, Critical Minerals and Defence. You will develop, execute and evaluate targeted marketing activity to provide leads and increase awareness of our capabilities in key segments.

Specifically, you will support the Marketing Director to develop and implement new data-informed, contact strategies and activities targeting mid and large market customers and build strong relationships with key partners and referral networks domestically and internationally.

About you

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with responsibility for integrated marketing, campaign delivery gained within a Federal or State Government department, agency, industry association or equivalent corporate setting.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or communications or equivalent experience gained within Government with good knowledge of corporate business markets.
  • Experience in managing external vendors and resources to deliver high-quality marketing deliverables, on time and on budget.
  • Campaign management and delivery experience including planning, delivery and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload, with a high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Strong written communication skills including writing marketing copy for events, collateral, emails and sponsorship activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing Director to contribute to the development of new marketing plans, focusing on contact strategies supporting our infrastructure, critical minerals and defence mandates and other key sectors.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create and execute digitally led marketing activity across a range of suitable channels.
  • Manage and evaluate channel plans, working with the Marketing Director to analyse value drivers and build an effective operating model.
  • Take an insight driven approach, continuously assessing how data can inform decision making.
  • Develop campaign briefs for the development of new assets to agreed timelines with the most effective channels used to achieve goals and cost efficiencies.
  • Works closely with marketing and external relations colleagues to develop a social media strategy to increase engagement and awareness among key identified sectors and stakeholders.
  • Use insights from a range of sources to evaluate and report on marketing activity to identify efficiency and effectiveness including performance benchmarking and return on investment reporting.
  • Explore sponsorship events and activities, with a focus on lead generation, data acquisition and brand awareness.
  • Ensure strong governance, effectively managing stakeholder socialisation and sign-off, including take a more agile approach which invites diverse and inclusive thinking.
