Export Finance Australia operates from 22 Pitt Street, Sydney, New South Wales. We occupy four floors and lease the remainder to tenants on standard commercial terms.

In managing our environmental performance, we seek to minimise our building’s environmental footprint by adopting practices that promote energy efficiency, support recycling and reduce waste.

Renovations to Export House were completed in 2013 and in June 2014 our building attained a 3.5 NABERS rating. The renovations included energy efficient air-conditioning and sensor-controlled lighting, both of which serve to reduce the building’s energy use (and associated greenhouse gas emissions). We also installed water-efficient fixtures in all new bathrooms and kitchens, and additional bike storage to encourage our employees and tenants to cycle rather than drive.

As part of the renovation of our premises, we implemented systems to monitor energy and water use and waste generation, and assess performance against targets.
