Inclusive Global Value Chains


At the Brisbane G20 Summit in November 2014, the leaders concluded that trade and competition are powerful drivers of growth, increased living standards and job creation.

The G20 leaders also stated that ”we need policies that take full advantage of global value chains and encourage greater participation and value addition by developing countries.”

This report, part of a larger program by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the World Bank Group, looks at the importance of making it easier for SMES to take part in global value chains.
