Helping Australian defence contractors succeed overseas

We have a long history of successfully providing financial support for Australian defence exports across a range of sectors including engineering, advanced manufacturing and software.

Our range of solutions can help your business take advantage of new export-related contracts or to expand your business overseas.

Finance options for your business

To support Australia’s world-class defence industry, the Commonwealth Government has established the A$3.8 billion Defence Export Facility.

This Facility gives defence contractors the confidence to pursue new direct export and supply chain contracts, knowing there is a source of available finance when Export Finance Australia may be unable to help.

Under this Facility, we can offer finance on the National Interest Account to help even more contractors receive the finance they need to grow internationally.

Here are some of the Australian defence businesses we’ve helped win direct export contracts or participate in a global supply chain.
