The Assistant Manager, Brand, Media & Comms Operations supports operational excellence across the team, managing processes, reporting, budget tracking and vendor coordination to ensure efficient delivery of marketing and communications activities.

Working in a small, fast paced team, this is a role for someone who can ensure how we operate supports the delivery of brand, media and communications outcomes for EFA.

About you

  • Coordinate a broad range of administrative duties, including maintaining accurate information across plans, task management, finance and information management.
  • Establishes appropriate management processes/budgets and systems that parallel best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and co-ordinate vendor relationships.
  • Support campaign and project delivery through scheduling and resource coordination.
  • Help maintain marketing customer databases and provide backup support for digital channel publishing, as well as customer success functions.
  • Support risk management processes, including internal controls.
  • Maintain documentation and systems to support team efficiency and governance.
  • Assist with performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in marketing operations, project coordination or business support.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for positive outcomes.
  • Experience with budget tracking, reporting and vendor coordination.
  • Working knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and experience applying them to marketing and communications activities
  • Experience across private and public sectors with experience working in banking and or marketing and communications functions
  • Experience with AI tools and platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and process management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft suite of products.
